Bookings received after 16:00 are processed for the next available date.

What the calculator does – and what it does not
The calculator works from the route between pickup and delivery, the type of vehicle your shipment needs and typical conditions on that lane. The result is an indicative price: a realistic estimate you can use for decisions or for pricing your own offer to a customer.
It is not a binding quote. That comes from our dispatcher after checking actual carrier capacity for the specific day. The gap between the two is usually small if your input is accurate and the deadline is not extremely short. Larger differences appear when the shipment turns out bigger or heavier, when special equipment is required, or when trucks are scarce on the lane that week.
Filling it in so the result fits
- Locations – at least postcode and town. A city centre and an industrial zone on its edge can be many kilometres apart.
- Shipment – number and size of pallets, or loading metres if you know them. A loading metre is one metre of trailer floor across the full width.
- Weight – total weight. For heavy goods such as steel or tiles, weight decides the vehicle before volume does.
- Extras – tick them only when really needed, as each one narrows the choice of trucks.
What moves the result up or down
| Input | Effect |
|---|---|
| Distance | The base; longer routes mean more driver days, fuel and tolls. |
| Vehicle type | Van, rigid truck or full trailer; curtain-sider, reefer and ADR units differ in availability. |
| Loading metres | In groupage you pay for the space used; non-stackable pallets need more. |
| Weight | Limits how many pallets fit legally in one truck. |
| Date | Loading tomorrow costs more than loading in three days. |
| Express | Direct run without extra stops, sometimes with two drivers. |
| Tail-lift | Needed where there is no dock or forklift; fewer trucks have one. |
| Crane | Special truck with a loader crane for sites and heavy items. |
| Return loads | Lanes where trucks easily find a load back tend to be cheaper. |
Ways to save
- Stackability – if another pallet can go on top, you use half the space. Check with your supplier.
- Flexible dates – a two- or three-day window lets us find a truck already heading your way.
- Groupage – up to roughly a third of a truck, pallet groupage is usually cheaper than a dedicated vehicle, though slower.
- Dock instead of tail-lift – opens up the full range of standard trucks.
- Bundling orders – one larger weekly shipment from a regular supplier beats three small ones.
Pricing an import
The calculator works both ways. For an import, enter your supplier's address abroad as pickup and your warehouse in Czechia or Slovakia as delivery. On some lanes the trip towards Czechia is busier than the outbound one, so the price can differ by direction.
We arrange collection with your supplier, so add a note on whether the goods are ready, the supplier's opening hours and the release reference. For non-EU countries such as the UK or Switzerland, customs clearance is not included and is handled individually. The full process is described under international forwarding.
