Freight forwarding Mladá Boleslav – road transport, import and export
Freight forwarding Mladá Boleslav: auto parts and materials for suppliers, JIT time slots, express runs for stopped lines, returnable packaging, EU exports.

A car town since the bicycle era
Mladá Boleslav, about 60 km north-east of Prague on the D10 motorway, has roughly 48,000 inhabitants and around 107,000 in its wider area. Vehicles have been built here since the 1890s, starting with bicycles and motorcycles; since the mid-1920s car production has been the backbone of the local economy. Earlier industries such as textile mills, breweries, a distillery, soap works and fertiliser production have largely disappeared. The result is a town where almost every freight movement is tied to a production schedule.
Our place in the supply chain
Assembly lines are fed just-in-time, some parts even just-in-sequence, usually from warehouses and pre-assembly halls right next to the plant. We work one step upstream: bringing raw materials and semi-finished goods to suppliers in the region and taking their components to customers in Czechia and abroad.
- Inbound: plastic granulate, steel coils and blanks, cables and connectors, seat fabrics and foams, electronics, fasteners, adhesives and paints.
- Outbound: stampings, welded assemblies, wiring harnesses, plastic and interior parts, spare parts for service warehouses.
- Returnables: plastic totes, wire mesh boxes and custom racks, which we combine with deliveries so trucks do not return empty.
Line-stop emergencies
A missing part costs far more than any freight bill. Our express service sends a van immediately after loading, with no intermediate stops. From Bavaria or Saxony it normally arrives the same day; from further away in Germany, Poland or Slovakia it runs overnight, and from Spain or Italy we use a two-driver crew that can keep driving almost without breaks.
Roads around the Jizera
The town lies on the left bank of the Jizera, with its old centre on a promontory above the confluence with the Klenice. The D10 passes the town on its way from Prague to Turnov, and the I/38 and I/16 trunk roads cross it. Germany is usually reached via the Prague ring and the D8 to Dresden, Upper Lusatia more directly via Turnov and Liberec. Poland is reached via Liberec, or via the I/38, D11 and Náchod; Slovakia, Austria and Hungary via the D1 and Brno. Industrial and logistics parks with dock booking systems line the D10, for example in Kosmonosy. Truck traffic peaks in the morning and at shift changes, which we factor in.
Exports from the region
Components made around Mladá Boleslav do not only go to the local plant. Suppliers here also deliver to car and truck makers in Germany, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, and spare parts leave for service warehouses across Europe. For these lanes we combine full trucks for regular call-offs with groupage for small replenishment orders. The town also has a university focused on the automotive business and a long-established industrial school, so engineering prototypes and test parts are a regular, if small, part of the traffic – usually urgent, often fragile, and best sent by van.
Before you book
Plants and tier suppliers typically require a booked unloading slot, industry-standard transport labels and driver and vehicle details. Please send us the slot number or window and the receiving contact, the number and type of packages including returnables, weights and dimensions, and the delivery note or order number. Czech rules ban vehicles over 7.5 t on Sunday and public holiday afternoons, and in July and August also on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, so Saturday-shift deliveries are loaded earlier. Motorways and selected trunk roads carry electronic tolls. Within the EU no customs clearance is needed; a CMR note and delivery note are enough.
Which service fits
Full trucks suit regular material supply, pallet groupage suits smaller orders and samples, express vans cover shortages. Adhesives, paints and batteries go with ADR-equipped carriers. Prices for specific lanes are in the calculator.
